Placement Solutions is Australian owned and operated and run by the original owner. Established in Melbourne by Louise Dunham, (the Managing Director) Placement Solutions was one of the first agencies to offer quality screened Child-Carers. We stand by the principle,that we care for your most precious assets.

We never forget that it is an honour to be invited into your home to care for your family.

We also offer additional cleaning, ironing and complete household management services to busy working people.

In 1996 another similar business was acquired - International Nanny Services; and in that year the two were merged into one company.  The name was changed in 1998 to Placement Solutions.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly and reliable service,to both clients and staff. We work hard to find a balance between providing exemplary care and service to our clients, whilst maintaining the rights of our staff.  We believe that happy staff bring joy, enthusiasm and quality care to their placement.

Our Managing Director was also one of the instigators (and a past President) of the Australian Association of Nanny Agencies. (AANA Inc. Vic.)

In 2007 Placement Solutions was selected to take part in two national committees:-

The Childcare Management System Industry Task Force  appointed by FASCIA now DEEWR, to bring in the new 
CCMS - ( Child Care Management System )
The National Steering Committee for In-Home Care Standards appointed by FASCIA now DEEWR. These have 
been implemented and are in use across Australia, as the National Interim In-Home Care Standards.
In 2007/2008, our MD also served on the Executive of NICA as Treasurer. 

 We are proud to be members of the National In-Home Care Association (NICA) since 2002. This Association sets industry benchmarks and maintains a voluntary code of ethics,designed to ensure that the industry is self-regulating, and that maintaining the safety, welfare and happiness of your children, remains the paramount duty of all NICA members.

Our Managing Director was also one of the founders (and a past President) of the Australian Association of Nanny Agencies. (AANA Inc.Vic ) During that time we successfully set up a Code of Ethics and campaigned to bring in the Victorian Working With Children Check.

The Managing Director Louise Dunham took part at this time in helping form the Government Approved In-home Care Scheme, thereby enabling access for eligible clients to ChildCare benefit (CCB) and Childcare Rebate (CCR).  These rebates are attainable through Placement Solutions.

Member of the International Nanny Association (INA) based in America  - Established 25 years ago and proud to be a member.  Active participant in training and professional development.

Member of Australasian Association of Professional Organisers (AAPO) since 2004.  Active participant in the Victorian chapter.
